Scott Sigler is coming to Phoenix Comicon

sigler Innovative author Scott Sigler is the latest author attending at Phoenix Comicon. He will appear every day.

The New York Times-bestselling author has published 15 novels, ranging from his YA sci-fi sports series, “The Galactic Football League” to his horror sci-fi novels including Ancestor and Infected.

But Sigler is best known for his innovative distribution of his debut novel, Earthcore. After initially being released on a fledgling (and quickly defunct) e-book imprint in 2001, he decided to release the novel as a podcast, selling 20 episodes online and through iTunes. That inventive move earned Sigler a legion of followers, known as “Junkies” who have tuned in for podcast versions of his more recent novels as well.

His latest novel, Alive, is coming in July.

And I will not be there to get him drunk the night before his panel. [sigh] Others will have to take up the torch on my behalf.

  2. Oh don’t worry – all early panels at PCC seem to involve hung over authors… And there IS the “Drinks with Authors” event!
