Kevin Hearne hosts “Elevengeddon” at the Poisoned Pen

heir to the jediKevin Hearne may have moved to Colorado, but his heart is still in Arizona. The Tacopope is returning to the Valley for Phoenix Comicon, and is putting together a soiree at the Poisoned Pen Bookstore with ten of his fellow authors.

The author of the New York Times-bestselling “Iron Druid Chronicles”, Hearne is joining the Star Wars canon with his upcoming Heir to the Jedi, a first-person story of Luke Skywalker’s adventures between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back.

novikJoining Hearne for this sci-fi/fantasy blowout are Naomi Novik, author of the acclaimed “Temeraire” series and the upcoming dark fairy tale, Uprooted; Django Wexler, author of the flintlock fantasy “Shadow Campaigns” series; as well as Hearne’s fellow acolytes in the Holy Taco ChurchSam Sykes, Beth Cato, Jason Hough, Delilah S. Dawson, Stephen Blackmoore, Myke Cole, Chuck Wendig and Brian McClellan.

The signing takes place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, the night before Phoenix Comicon kicks off. You’ll probably want to get there early — with that many authors, there might not be much space for an audience! And if Beth Cato has anything to do with it, there may be cookies as well.

Go forth and spread the good news, the Tacopope has decreed it!
