YA Wednesday – Leigh Bardugo is coming to Phoenix

YA fantasy sensation Leigh Bardugo is back with a new novel set in her bestselling “Grisha”-verse. Six of Crows, which came out this week, has been described as “Oceans 11 meets Game of Thrones” following Kaz and his crew of young misfit thieves as they attempt the ultimate heist.

Bardugo is currently on her “Magic and Mayhem” tour, meeting fans and signing copies of the new novel, and is coming to Changing Hands Phoenix on Thursday, Oct. 1.

I had a chance to chat with her about the book and some of the current issues facing YA authors for the Arizona Republic.

About Michael Senft

I am a freelance writer and critic from Phoenix Arizona. I spent 10 years covering music, the arts and pop culture for the “Arizona Republic” before life circumstances took me away from newspaper. But I never lost my joy at writing. Or reading.
